Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) in the Police Force

This session will present the findings of a recent study in which a Continuous-Trauma EFT Protocol was designed and tested. The aim was to reduce the severity of post-traumatic stress symptoms in police officers exposed to trauma. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a relatively new self-help technique that involves either tapping lightly on, or touching specific acupressure points on the body, and has been shown to resolve uncomfortable emotions.
